Melissa has 10 years of experience in architecture and is a licensed architect in Alaska. In 2016, she joined Architects Alaska and specializes in healthcare facility design to provide operationally efficient, sustainable design that improves the patient experience. Melissa’s philosophy to architecture is to bridge the gap between ideas and reality. Effective communication with each client allows Melissa to guide them toward picking the best solution by looking at upfront cost, lifetime maintenance, all available options, owner’s project goals, budget, and schedule.

Melissa enjoys exploring everything the Alaskan outdoors has to offer. She is an avid fat tire biker, hiker, dog mom, and house project DIY enthusiast. Melissa travels for inspiration in her daily life and volunteers her professional knowledge for the betterment of the community.
