Dave was raised in Skagway and is a lifelong resident of Alaska. He joined Architects Alaska in 1987 and has led the way on some of the firm’s most innovative and complex projects. Dave has a true passion for architecture and designing public buildings that serve the community. As a Principal Architect, Dave is responsible for working directly with our clients to gain a deep understanding of their mission. He works with them to create designs that not only meet their needs efficiently and cost effectively, but also enhance their ability to accomplish their goals.

If he’s not at work, during the summer you can usually find Dave at his favorite camping spot, Trail River. He enjoys fishing, hiking, music, and spending time with family.
