Melanie Mangione, AIA, ASID, CHID
Architect, Interior Designer
Melanie has over 18 years of professional experience, but has been creating, crafting, and designing since she was 3 years old. Melanie has completed a diverse portfolio of projects in her 9 years at Architects Alaska. She works on everything from small, commercial office renovations and re-roofing projects to complete new buildings. Melanie loves reimagining an existing space into a new space. Her clients say she is best at meeting deadlines because she is great at coming up with solutions that work with the materials already on site or materials that are readily accessible in order to meet the deadline. Melanie is always flexible and makes sure the client’s needs and vision are met for each project.
Melanie manages the Bozeman, Montana office for Architects Alaska. She has her Architectural License in both Montana and Alaska and is a Certified Interior designer. Melanie recently became a CHID (Certified Healthcare Interior Designer) making her one of three listed for Alaska and the only designer listed in Montana. She is currently pursuing her WELL AP accreditation with The International WELL Building Institute.
In her free time, Melanie wears many hats. She is an ice sculptor, teacher, dog trainer, marshmallow artist, chef, volunteer, and multimedia artist. She is always busy creating something new. Melanie also loves travelling and has made it her mission to take one long weekend each month so she can leave the state and explore a new region of the United States.
