Steve joined Architects Alaska in 2011 and has over 19 years of experience. Steve takes a careful and considerate approach to ensure that the final design meets today’s needs while creating solutions for tomorrow. Extremely passionate about environmental design, he believes in creating buildings that honor and provide practical functionality for the community that surrounds them.

His expertise includes complete project development, renovations/expansions with phase construction plans, cost estimation, and complete facility design. He has provided his services on office and educational remodels, healthcare facilities, maintenance facilities, and airport facilities at various locations throughout Alaska.

Steve grew up learning and loving history which led to a fascination with maps. He secretly loves studying maps to visualize other cultures. Aside from maps, Steve enjoys being a father to 2 young boys, hiking, and cross country skiing.
