The Bethel Aquatic Training and Health Center, registered for LEED certification, includes a four lane lap pool, a family pool with water slide, a wading pool, spa, offices, and supporting spaces. All pool areas can be viewed from a viewing area where family and friends can watch while enjoying the concessions. A separate Men’s and Women’s locker rooms are included as well as a family locker room.
The Bethel Aquatic Center site orientation takes advantage of the abundant natural day lighting by its South Western exposure to maximize daylight in the natatorium and Grand Gallery. An exercise room (with weight training equipment) and fitness room are located along The Grand Gallery. The Grand Gallery is dedicated for the community of Bethel and includes a naturally lit, two story space for folk art and local artists to display their work to demonstrate the aspirations of the local community.
