Senior Marketing Coordinator

Architects Alaska has a job opening for a Senior Marketing Coordinator. Qualified candidates have experience in an AEC related industry responding to Requests for Proposals for professional design or building construction services. The right person may choose any of the above office locations to home base from. Reporting to the Marketing Director and/or Principal in Charge, the primary duty is to respond to RFPs, which you should have experience with. Other duties will be to help with social media posts, keeping our website up to date, data management and migration to our cloud-based information database of work history, graphic design tasks, and company event planning and execution. As architects, we design buildings that help create and define places, making for better communities, more sustainable environments, and stronger businesses. Your efforts will help to define our brand, propelling our firm into the future by telling the story of who we are, who our clients are, and how we can best serve our clients’ mission.  This role is tailor-made for those who thrive in a fast-paced environment, where every day brings a new challenge. We’re looking for someone who blends imaginative vision with a meticulous eye for detail.

Key Qualifications for the Ideal Candidate:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: 5 years minimum in a marketing or communications role, preferably within the Architecture, Engineering and Construction industries (AEC).
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator). Familiarity with Canva and social media platforms is desirable.
  • Communication: Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills coupled with a creative approach.
  • Social Media: Savvy in social media with graphic design skills as a significant plus.
  • Graphic Design: Proficiency with graphic design software is very desirable – programs listed above. A designer’s eye for layout, fonts and imagery is highly desirable, or at least a willingness to learn.
  • Collaboration and Leadership: Demonstrated ability to work effectively with teams and stakeholders, with strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Analytical and Strategic Thinking: Ability to apply critical thinking and problem-solving strategies effectively, supported by robust research capabilities.
  • Adaptability and Time Management: Proven track record in a dynamic setting, managing multiple projects efficiently without compromising deadlines.
  • Interpersonal and Professionalism: Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with an understanding of market dynamics and consumer behavior. Consistently energetic, enthusiastic, and professional in contributing to team success.
