Project Manager / Project Designer

Job opening for experienced Project Manager / Project Designer with 10 years minimum professional experience required. Licensed architect preferred, however, demonstrated experience highly valued and applicable. Healthcare experience a plus. Broad range of commercial and institutional building types experience desirable as well. Successful candidate will have experience with the complete range of architectural services- from programming through all phases of design services, construction administration and project close-out. The candidate must be well organized, communicate effectively and professionally in all manners- orally, written, and through architectural visualization and documentation, be technically proficient, and knowledgeable of building codes and industry standards.

Our firm fosters a collaborative environment; enthusiasm for of working as a team player is a must. Ability and willingness to openly participate in client and stakeholder meetings, and sometimes lead them. The candidate must coordinate with consultants, write specifications and technical documents, and provide assistance to the Principal Architect. Both working independently without continuous oversight, while being an engaged team member is critical to success. Above all, the successful candidate understands the importance of integrity and respect throughout all aspects of professional service and client care.

The position requires in-person work hours at any one of our offices. Projects currently are located in AK and MT. Hybrid in-person and remote is possible. General Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years industry experience
  • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree in Architecture
  • Licensed or on Licensure Track
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to prioritize work activities and consistently meet deadlines
  • MS Office Suite
  • Revit & AutoCAD
  • Sketch-Up proficiency a plus
