Ella Duprow

Architectural Designer

Anchorage, Alaska

Ella joins our team as a full-time designer, bringing a fresh perspective, strong design instincts, and hands-on experience gained during her two summers interning with Architects Alaska. She brings a passion for problem solving, innovation, creativity, and big-picture thinking, paired with strong communication skills and a genuine interest in designing spaces that support people, community, and connection to the natural world.

One of the projects that stands out early in her career is her work on the custom wall protection design for the new ANMC Emergency Department exam rooms, an experience that deepened her appreciation for thoughtful, user-focused solutions. Ella is especially energized by projects with unique design challenges, opportunities for community impact, and elements inspired by nature.

What excites Ella most about architecture is its ability to transform the world around us—whether revitalizing underused spaces, advancing sustainability, or creating meaningful environments that enhance daily life. She loves learning from her colleagues across the firm, each bringing unique strengths and experiences that support her growth as a young designer.

Outside the office, Ella is always exploring—hiking, biking, climbing, camping, fishing, or cross-country skiing. She is passionate about creativity and the arts, plays several string instruments, and runs a small jewelry-making business. A lifelong maker and adventurer, she also loves traveling and has visited nearly 20 countries (with many more on her list).
