Robert “Robin” Wohlforth

AIA

Project Architect

Wasilla, Alaska

Born and raised in Alaska, Robin brings nearly a decade of architectural experience back to his home state, driven by a passion for creating spaces that enhance the communities he knows and loves. After earning his degree from Carnegie Mellon University in 2015, he spent years refining his expertise in Minneapolis, working on a diverse range of projects, from innovative school concepts to modular apartment buildings and commercial developments.

Robin thrives on solving complex design challenges, with a talent for organizing information and optimizing layouts to create efficient, well-lit, and intuitive spaces. Whether integrating an indoor playground into a dormitory or reimagining commercial spaces, he brings both technical precision and creative problem-solving to every project.

Now back in Alaska as a licensed architect, Robin is excited to contribute to the built environment of his hometown, knowing that the projects he works on will become part of daily life in the community. When he’s not designing, he enjoys hiking, cross-country skiing, and spending time at his family cabin on upper Kachemak Bay—always finding inspiration in Alaska’s stunning landscapes.
