The Crow Tribe needed a safe and secure location for their children so parents could support their family. The Apsáalooke Little Blessings Childcare center provides a warm and inviting place for community children to thrive. The primary construction of this 9500 sf building is SIPS panels which provide thermal, acoustic and structural support for the entire building. Starting in September, SIPS were erected quickly with a completely enclosed building before the end November. This childcare center holds 4 classrooms, a large indoor play area with each room having direct access to the outdoor play yard, A commercial kitchen, laundry, storage, 4 offices and wide hallways for cultural artifacts to be displayed. This building is designed for growth, as the community grows, the childcare building can easily accommodate additions of offices, classrooms or a headstart program.
