Melanie boasts 22 years of experience in design and architecture, originating from her childhood passion for paper crafting. At Architects Alaska, her portfolio stands as a testament to her versatility, spanning from custom high-end residences to affordable housing renovations, and from soaring commercial high-rises to government staff support building upgrades. She derives immense satisfaction from transforming an existing space, breathing new life into it with innovative design. Known for punctuality, she efficiently uses resources, ensures prompt delivery, and stays within budget and vision.

Leading Architects Alaska’s Bozeman, Montana office, Melanie is licensed in Montana, South Dakota, and Alaska. She’s a Certified Interior Designer, CHID, and WELL AP with The International WELL Building Institute, and is pursuing LEED certification.

Beyond work, Melanie’s vivacity shines as an ice sculptor, teacher, dog trainer, marshmallow chef, volunteer, golfer, and artist. She serves on three design boards: ASID Intermountain Chapter, Professional Women in Building, and the Sweet Pea Festival. An avid traveler, she cherishes Palm Springs for its signature Mid-Century design.
